Using this guide

This guide provides an insight into the different types of metrics and where to find them. Research metrics include various quantitative tools like the Impact Factor, h-index, and altmetrics. Each metric measures different aspects of research impact, such as citation counts, social media mentions, and more.

The library recommends that author profiles on platforms like ORCID, Scopus, Web of Science, and Google Scholar are up to date to reflect your latest work. This ensures accurate tracking and reporting. Always consider the context and limitations of each metric. Use multiple metrics to get a comprehensive view of your research impact.
