Personal communications
- Personal communications can include unpublished letters, emails and conversations.
- Where letters, emails or conversations are published or archived use the Oxford referencing style formatting appropriate for the source, for example, book or website.
- Permission from the person being cited is needed before you use their details.
- Personal communications are not included in the bibliography as the reader cannot access the material.
- Check with your Course Coordinator about when use of unpublished material is applicable.
