Tips for undertaking systematic-type reviews

JBI SUMARI

There is a range of systematic review software available to help manage a systematic review. UniSQ has a subscription to JBI SUMARI. Commonly used in health but it can be used for a broad range of systematic type of reviews. You can use all of the product, or just sections of it, for example, the protocol template.

  • All UniSQ staff and research students can access JBI SUMARI by searching “ Joanna Briggs Institute” via USQ Library search.
  • Log in with your UniSQ username and password if prompted.
  • SUMARI is located under “EBP Tools” on the OVID menu bar.
  • Click on "Register New User" to create a SUMARI account (use your UniSQ email, but create a different password for logging into JBI SUMARI).
  • Log in to your JBI SUMARI account to set up a project and share your project with other team members.
  • Use the JBI SUMARI Knowledge Base for guidance on using JBI SUMARI (includes video tutorials).

If you are undertaking a Cochrane Review, access to the software Covidence is provided by Cochrane to those approved to undertake a Cochrane Reviews. UniSQ does not have a subscription to Covidence.
